i keep seeing those hairy bunnies and really want to get one! then i remember my dog would probably have too much fun with it. Chickn, how much are yo asking for that little black buck?

Keesemom, were all those fuzzy yellow chicks favs? bantams or LF? i have someone asking me for a hen and i really don't have any chicks right now to help her out. the only chick i hatched this year is a pullet but she has 4 toes on one foot and i am unsure how her color will turn out. btw, i got your message about the fav eggs! i have a bid in on them and someone else that should be ending soon! here's hoping i have better luck this time than i have been lately with eggs!

The last of the Sussex are leaving Monday. Aside from a few silkie hens for the kids all I will have from now on are Favs. So yes, all those yellow chicks are Favs - LF - plus a lone bantam black Fav that hatched later and didn't make it for the photo shoot.

Is she looking for bantams or LF? PQ or BQ? I have some bantam blue salmon chicks from Catalpa Grove but Laura and Sarah get first pick of those. I also have two POL bantam pullets - one 4 toed black and one PQ splash bantam - that I would like to go together.

I haven't gone through the LF yet but I'm sure there are some PQ in there too.

she was looking for a bantam. at the time i had posted i had not read my PM yet. seems she found a hen finally so she is now all set. i could use a couple of pullets since i lost a couple this past winter. i don't mind the 2 PQ bantams the black would be a good one to use for my color project with the cuckoo since it would be quicker to use a black than to keep going through the salmon and having to weed out the off colors. the splash pullet would have a wonderful splash boy as a companion! my Pixwell needs his own girl to woo! !> how much are you asking for them?

i won an auction of 6 eggs this morning from someone listing out of Ohio. and i have a bid on the blue salmon from Catalpa Grove. so here's hoping i have better luck this time around with the eggs hatching!

The black girl is a little oversized too, which won't hurt! $20 for both girls. Here's the splash pullet. They hatched late Dec together.
