We are planning on attending our first Chickenstock Fiesta next Saturday as we are newbies to the chicken phenomena but are loving it. We have 12 hens which free-range and gets lots of loving from the kids every day. We have 1 broody hen and since we don't and can't have any roosters, I am wondering if anyone brings fertile eggs to the swap so that I could buy a few and try our hand at incubating under the hen. We incubated 12 eggs in incubator last summer and that worked well.
We are also looking for polish pullets and possibly a frizzle bantam cochin pullet(s) as my daughter wants to try to work with these breeds as well.

This website has been so helpful in answering our many "newbie" questions and we love looking at all of your posts and pictures and we are really looking forward to seeing everything at the Fiesta next Saturday!

Shay, is there anything I can bring for the party/food thingy?? I was thinking of stuff to make but, my husband said it would be best if I asked you first to see if there is something you need. Let me know I'd be more than happy to bring you anything, water, soda, paper plates, plastic silverware, you name it!! Or, if you just want me to bring a dish I can do that too

I can't wait!!!

You can do a dish for the potluck table

I will get some paper plates, forks and cups. There will be a set up for the potluck foods which are free to everyone, buyers and sellers, and then there is a set up for a couple of foods for sale (pssst like my pastaleos)
