Chickenswaps Of Nh April Swaps

The telephone number is 603-271-2404. Tell Cindy you would like to get your birds npip tested and she will set up an apointment. They test all birds over 20 weeks of age. It doesn't cost you anything right now to have it done. There is a grant that covers it.

Darbella - I want to get NPIP approved, too. I went to the NH Ag site, and couldn't find the information on the process. What do you have to do and how much does it cost? Is the whole flock tested or just a few hens? Is there a website that you can direct me to? I feel like I'm asking a lot of dumb questions.

we are having trouble with ads on craigs list today. they are getting flagged. If anyone would like to try to put one up it would be greatly appreciated. some have gotten flagged minutes after they were posted. greg has gotten flagged 8 times in the last 24 hours. considering the date change, advertising is important.

Yes it is getting old. They think they are hurting us but they are hurting the public.
I am sure there are alot of family's out there that would love to have a few chickens for the eggs to feed thier family.
It really is sad when grown people get pleasure out of flagging posts.

I heard that all swaps are cancelled due to new rules. Is this true? State told the stores they would be liable for any sick chickens sold. Is this only NH or does it include Mass. also. Thank you for your replies.

The swaps have not been cancelled.
There is one at Tilton Tractor Supply tomorrow. It was supposed to be today but due to the weather they rescheduled for tomorrow.
There are some rules to be followed, but there are rules no matter what you do. You are asked to sign in and get a vender # and keep track of all chicks sold under 4 weeks. Anything under 4 weeks is to be sold by 12. That has always been a rule in NH, it just wasn't enforced.
Hope to see you there.
