Yes, I knew it was the only building there, but one time i thought they had some kind of cookout by the humane society or girlscouts or something. There must be places on that road too for food huh? Maybe a McDonalds?
I am hoping to be able to catch that last little button quail that is hiding in the studio! He is the prettiest one, a really golden honey color, just dont want him gettin in somewhere and dying cause i dont feel like smelling that for a month! Ewe!

Got the New Genesis up and running today, only took an hour for the temp to hit the preset and it is holding strong! Loaded it up with about 44 eggs so far, the other bators have about 45-50 eggs each in them with such staggered hatches it will be a miricle if anything hatches at all. So far candling is showing a lot of hope! I have all the serama allready sold should they hatch on their own, so that is a plus!

Not sure what is close by for food. I think there is a Dunkin Doughnuts at one of the gas stations up the road and the other gas station across from that one sells sandwhiches I think.
I picked up 5 GLW & 5 SLW this afternoon to add to what I already listed.
I am hearing peeping from the lockdown of last night but its in the new bator and I dont know if its hatched or chirping through the shell. I dont want to mess up the humidity. I think it is Janets eggs and vinseeds eggs.

I am not interfearing unless I really have to.

What kind of bator are you using Cheryl? You cannot see inside it? That could be a real bummer in my case cause i am an idiot and cannot leave the darn eggs alone. i think I candle every other day because I want to make sure if I am throwing one out, it is definitely a dead egg! I allways doubt myself on that. I should invest in a real egg candler instead of he crappy flashlight system I use! LOL I will see everyone in thew morning, not sure if bringing birds, pulled about 15 eggs out of a hole in the stone wall this afternoon that one of my hens has been laying and I am not letting her go broody outside! Plus it was right in the path of a downspout too!
