the little munchkin in the front is my blue showgirl. the white is her mom.

OK. Need some different color showgirls here... Sarah has the Partrigde and her whites. Got them all together right now (I know), but they were raised together and never seperated them. What she needs now is a couple of white silkie hens. What other colors would work with the partridge? Out of the chicks hatched so far there are 7 showgirl and one normal.

Want some buff ones. What would that take? Maybe a white showgirl roo to a really dark buff silkie? Buff showgirls are not too easy to find and when you do it's more than her (and my) allowance

buff is diluted red. it would be worth a try. the only problem with white is that it could be covering another color. if your partridge is from me, both grandparents are white. I bred a partridge showgirl to a white silkie and got both white and partridge chicks. This year I bred a white from a different blood line(not knowing her genetics) to a splash silkie and got blue so I must have pulled some from her background.

Going to try it and see what we get. Yes, the partridge chicks (raised two and both pullets) are the ones she got from you and the whites she got from shay.

So as soon as we get another pen made outside going to give the white male a couple different colored silkie girls, have a few extras that could go with him to play with and see what we get... Splash showgirls

OK, Bryant get that other pen finished so we can move him out with more girls. Have another white showgirl male, but I really don't like him much.

I have been watching my runner eggs all day. 2 have pipped at least 6 hours ago. hatch date is tomorrow. how long before I should get worried? eggs are rocking and tapping.
