Don’t get a dog with known seizures. After talking to the lady in charge of Penny Lane (my mom put the phone on speaker so that I could listen) she seems to be a good fit for us. She needs to work on manners and needs more consistent training than she's had in the past, which I'm sure that we could provide. The one thing is that she's had seizures in the past, with an unknown cause. They suspect that it may be overstimulation but they don't actually know. (she's had three, all in instances with lots of energy and lots going on) I'm expecting that my dad won't want to get a dog that we can't meet in person (apparently the rescue is based in New York but the dog is in Texas) with a known medical issue![]()
