Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

https://joyrideharness.com/
Are these as good as advertised?
I like how they just slip on over the head because it seems easier than putting a harness on where you have to deal with their legs n stuff
but would it still pull on their neck?

no, what it does is it sits right over the dogs shoulders. It restricts the dogs movement and when used on a puppies growing and very moldable joints, you risk permanently injuring your dogs joints.

Get a y front harness. I have one where both sides of the harness unclips, so I slip it over the head, and then under the belly and snap on the sides of his ribcage. Its easy to put on.. Its basically the same design as the joyride but with a y front

OH crap, glad I asked lol

Ok....are there ones that aren't a HUGE hassle to put on? (Or maybe ND wasn't properly trained to her's)

So here is a Y-front harness

The little hole up front goes over your dogs head, then you pull the chest piece down and clip the sides

I think that ND has a Y front but wasn't properly introduced to it so now hates it
either that or majority of walks are stressful for her (I wouldn't know if this is true) and she associates the harness with walks
