I have a question— Is it that people don’t like mixed dogs in general? Or is it that people don’t like that they are sometimes labeled as designer breeds? None of the above?

I don't like the unethical breeding of mixed breeds for no purpose other than money.

I’m considering doing a lab test for Charlie. They were only 80% sure his dad was the beagle/chihuahua mix. So I really wanna know haha.

You definitely should! Embark and Wisdom Panel are the two most accurate ones but kinda pricey haha Embark has a just breed option now though that’s cheaper (they used to only have the full breed and health) and Wisdom is offering health now LOL they’re competing I guess

All the mixed ones I have owned have been free. But I see your point. I used to have a friend here on BYC that sold mixed puppies for over $1,000... and people actually bought them. This “friend” has done it several times.

But I do not like pumping out dogs with no testing, at outragous prices... no
