What ppl think poodles are like_ beautiful….jpeg

Does anyone know what the deal is with doodles? I know like 10 different labradoodles, and that's just the people who's dogs I've met. My friend is getting two bernedoodle puppies in about 3 weeks. What is up with doodles?
One thing is because they are hypoallergenic and non shedding, or at least they are suppose to be. The people I know that have them say this is true. So, you get a dog with lots of curly hair but not a lot in your house. They supposedly have great personalities, also. One of my brothers has one. I believe his is an English Goldendoodle. He says it is by far the best dog he has ever owned as far as just a family house dog.

The highest energy dog that I've ever met is my friends' 6ish year old (i think) german shorthaired pointer. She is CONSTANTLY running and never seems to run out of energy. They got her before the breeder started breeding for hunting dogs, so the dog is able to coexist with their chickens and rabbit. This dog discovered that the electric fence doesn't feel like anything when you jump it at an extremely high speed, and decided that the large amount of yard space and woodsy space is not enough for her. She has now been reduced to being *gasp* walked on a leash, and is extremely embarrassed by the indignity of it all.

how old? I'd be suprised if it didn't develop health issues, or underlying behavior issues.

haha! GSPs are great, but they are a lot of work!

The second highest energy dog that I've ever met is my other friends twoish year old labradoodle. She is just full of love and gives me hugs. It's amazing. She loves running around and fields and tennis balls, and she is my fremd.
