ignore the fact that he is fat. the dog sitter decided he was too skinny and fed him 4 cups a day for three days and OFC he ate it all.. he's deacon.

2 cups and he was crated most of the weekend too. Usually he's getting exercised in some way for 2 hours minimum.

I was shocked that he was crated so much, not that you exercise him!

I'd really like a spitz but I worry about going from 'easy' sporting and herding breeds (retrievers, collies, GSDs, berners) to the more stubborn spitz breeds
but eurasiers could be a good middle dog for me too
probably not FirstDog, but maybe SecondDog material
