look it's my boi (not actually but he's a tri pembroke)

1. I CANNOT believe that that GSD got best in show in a different show (idk about this one but if it places I will die)
2. I'm not sure if a sport that physically exercises the dog would be better, or if one that exercises their mind would be better. They obviously all use elements of both, but there are some that lean one way or the other.
I've sorted some into groups:

Physical:
Agility
Disc

Mental:
Obedience
Scent work/variations of finding and bringing/variations on hide and seek

Both:
Rally
Treibball
Freestyle

Doesn't work for my situation:
Flyball
Dock Diving
Herding
Canicross
Skijoring
Schutzhund

Wrong dog breed:
Lure Coursing
Tracking
Carting
Weight Pulling

I was trying a while ago to get my dog to stop barking and pulling at other dogs, it was working for a bit but then she slowly got less and less interested in the treats until she now ignores them when we are outside. Any ideas on what I should do?

Thank you! Tried that it didn’t work . I am going to try and work on engagement with her and see if that helps

Better treats?

Some activity instead of treats? (Toy, tug of war, petting, talking, even brushing if she likes that.)

Spend a lot of time on a sit-stay or down-stay where other dogs go by?

Work a little further from the other dogs?

About the treats: are these in addition to her usual food?
If you do not give her usual meal, but instead use it as treats for training, it might have more effect (depends on the dog.) Of course you want her to get the right amount of food in the day, but getting her food as part of training instead of served in a dish shouldn't hurt her.

(I'm just throwing out ideas, in hopes one or another will help.)

His coat leaves a lot to be desired, but if you look at his head, he does look like a golden, but he has no type.

Have you gotten the opinion of anyone who deals with Golden Retrievers?
Or looked at other Goldens of the same age?

Because some of those things change as a dog grows, and he certainly is not mature yet.

(I'm not saying he will ever be a conformation show winner, but he may still grow up to be better than you currently expect.)
