I know, he's brokenthats one odd cat
can you get something like this and allow one room in your house to be blocked off from the dog? https://www.amazon.com/Carlson-Thro...&keywords=cat+baby+gate&qid=1614907161&sr=8-4
I know, he's broken
he doesn't sit in boxes
he doesn't seek high places
he doesn't knock things over
That's a great idea! I'll mention it to my parents.
Welcome to the club.sure did that fast. Might have an addiction
Maybe! My bed is fairly high up, and he comes on it all the time, but I can't really think of what else could be a good high place. If he starts seeking them out, then I'll get a cat tree.Mine do, all of that hahah
maybe that will change if he feels threatened by a dog?

I think that we already have one of those gates, but I totally forgot about it!! I'd only get a cat tree if he starts seeking out high places. Much of our furniture is ANCIENT, for some reason (like hundreds of years old) and my cat is (obviously) not declawed. I don't want him to cause damage to it. I'd probably try to find a used one, also.yeah, best not to waste money on a cat tree if he wont use it. you'll need doggy gates anyways when raising a puppy, so even if your cat doesn't use it, its still useful.
