How does that work? Is he such a merle that he's only white? Or is he just a regular white dog

No piebald, clearly not double merle, not a ton of white on the face

Here is bad, double merle, see the piebald markings of the merle splotches?

This dog doesn't look double merle, But it is. It doesn't have the pink pigment, but the entirety of the dog, besides the face, is white. BAD!

Another bad example of merle. Notice how there isn't much merle on the face, and none on the body as far as we can tell? bad.

So, why is it bad? any merle dog with a lot of white markings, has double merle in their pedigree, which gives them the likelyhood of being blind and deaf.

any merle with a white face is lacking pigment around their eyes and they have the likeyhood of being blind. I think this is possible with any dog with extreme white markings on the face
