telling somebody there is no reason a command should take years to complete is rude.

no dog and handler moves at the same pace. there are plenty of reasons why it can take 2 years to teach a command as hard as recall.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I think that being sarcastic and hostile might not have been the best move in that situation, as opposed to asking how it’s done or something like that.

Is anyone else going to play the game I found? It looks good so far. I am training Captain in Retrieving Trials and Field Tests, and I am training Lynn in Drafting and Scent work. And apparently in this game "Clear" means perfect and your dog can have 6 clears. It said that there were 0 NSDTR's with 6 clears.

You know, I would like to know how its done. If you really think your dog has a solid recall at 6 months, then tell me how you did it. I'm sure we'd all like to know how to have puppies who have solid recalls.

I am not well educated on this, but it seems to be a possibility that they use different methods, or they’ve fine tuned it through many years of training
