All the mixed ones I have owned have been free. But I see your point. I used to have a friend here on BYC that sold mixed puppies for over $1,000... and people actually bought them. This “friend” has done it several times.

Mixed breeds meaning "Designer breeds'' like any sort of doodle, or outcrossing to make a dog tiny (like 'toy aussies') or breeds in fancy colors (like that merle poodle) that had to have been crossed, or that doberman that is all white, not just random mix puppies from an accidental cross or a shelter.

Fr , I was hoping there would be more of a sport breeder for bostons? they are super drivey. I know the standard doesn't call for flat faces, but it seems like all the brachy breeds are super squished these days. I've seen some really nice ones with longer muzzles

Yeah, there must be somewhere!!’ But year the super squished is for sure the trend and it’s sad. They didn’t used to be QUITE so squished. But then again all dog breeds are extreme now.

There are actually reputable doodle breeders now but they’re harder to come by and it’s only for Goldendoodles and Australian Labradoodles specifically. Especially the latter. The other doodles are still unethical.

Charlie came from an accident litter. But all 4 pups were free to good homes. I think it depends on the circumstance.

Agreed on that, I was just saying in general, because 'doodles' includes bernedoodles, aussiedoodles, shepadoodles, great danoodles (ugh) etc.

bulldogs and frenchies are really bad. I love well bred pure breds, and I love the smooshed faces, but it makes me sad when breeders are breeding to a standard that is hurting a dog. A dogs muzzle should be longer than 2 inches long

All white dobermans is actually naturally occuring, but like double merle, it causes deafness, blindness, and skin issues. It should be avoided.
