ty. are Greater Swiss mountain dogs similar? I know thye have less hair, but i read that their coats are thicker or something?

They need to be de-shed twice a year and they might need some brushing to break up dirt

They have smooth coats and I believe that they are smaller and shed less.

I think I want a Bernese Mountain dog, but I have a book that says Greater Swiss Mountain dogs are bigger, so I thought I might like them better.

I've been seeing SO many absolutely STUNNING GSDs lately
they're all so big with gorgeous coats and not a single one with dropped hips, it's amazing, I'm so pleased
