It only happens to me with some dogs (GSP, and now my uncle's dog that is here) but I don't mind either, I was just curious

Dirty dogs, moslty. I know when that happens, deacon needs a bath.

Aloha @chickentrains! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was wondering what breed you might think my sweet girl is!? I’m almost positive that she is a golden retriever mix, she is the softest dog I have ever felt, and is getting fluffier and fluffier after each bath. I just can’t find what breed she would be mixed with! I have looked at golden retriever mixes all over the internet, and haven’t seen any that look quite like her. If this is not the right place to post this, let me know and I can move it asap- but I would really appreciate your opinion

A goldlador! That would make perfect sense! do you think she has any Australian Cattle Dog (heeler) in her? Heelers are very common here, and both of my other heeler mixes have the white chest/paws... just a random thought of mine

I would doubt it, as heelers don't often have white spots. I would also assume if she where a red heeler mix, she would be a darker color. She's a very classic golden color

Those ears have me puzzled.
Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers both have kind of floppy ears.
The dog in the picture has ears that stick out and even partly up.
I think there has to be a prick-eared dog somewhere in the mix.

She's a pretty dog, no matter what kind she is!

We gave uncles dog (looks like a lab x hound, probably a greyhound, he reminds me a LOT of one) a once over with our undercoat rake and omg we have a huge pile of fur in our yard lol
