Chicks 1st day in the rain

I went out this morning at 6:20 and let the chicks out. Well this is what it looked like.........

Here they are running around and having fun

Here they think I have food

Here is the neighboring duck giving me the guilt trip look for some food. lol

Here my Rooster "BARBQ" is having a chat with the duck about the food supply. lol

Here the other chicks back up BarBQ on the food issue

I did and always do give the duck a little food. I will soon have a couple ducks of my own and this way the chicks will get used to them. HEHE

Mine are made out of sugar. They melt if they get wet. John

How old are they Chickcrew? They look like they're having lots of fun!

We have three 7 week old chicks that have just started staying in their coop, I was a bit worried when I saw them out in the rain....can they catch colds? They can go inside but seemed happy out in the rain.

they are 6 weeks old and have been in the coop for a bout 3 weeks. They love the rain, they would stand in it and then shake it off. It's so funny. I didn't leave them out in the rain that long cause I had to leave. They were out there about 3 hours.
