Chicks 4-6weeks just bought grower feed

Great feedback thank you. The food I got says 23% crude protein. I hope that is not too much for them. They seem to be doing fine on the new food. They def eat it up. The title on my food bag from Agland shows "Chick Starter/Grower 23% AMP .0175% Medicated."

Calcium Min is 1.14% & Calcium max is 1.16% whatever that means! LOL
I also just switched them from a tupperware of water to horizontal nipples that they are not too sure about but drinking from them... It seems like they get far less of water in their mouth using the nipples but hopefully they will just use it more.

The Calcium level is good for growing chicks.
Protein is a little high for egg layers in my opinion. Some feed that amount.
I would just give a extra helping of low Protein treats, like scratch, mixed bird seed and greens like kale.
If you let them free range for half a day, on a daily basis, then you're good to go. GC

As long as you see them all using the nipples, they will be fine.
