I think it is funny more then anything and was wondering if anybody else experienced this..
I have three 5 week old chicks, and when they go out into the run I sprinkle food and scratch on the ground to keep them occupied. Well the first few days I did this, some birds were watching with GREAT interest. Finally, one sparrow flew down to investigate..
And ALL THREE of my chicks flew toward him kung fu style! Cheeping very loudly and chasing that freeloading bird away. It was SO funny! I have never seen such a thing, but now all the sparrows and doves know not to mess with the terrible threesome. hahaha. Munk even flew up to where a dove was perched in the orange tree to 'shoo' her away.
