Chicks and hen seperated?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but my neighbors dog chased all the chicks and hens aprat and now they are spread all over the yard and my neighbors yard, I put as many chicks I could gather back together under a tree and now we can't find the hen, any suggestions or ideas on how to reunite them all... I have a brooder full of other chicks the same age but mine haven't been outside in the real world so I'm not sure how well it would work to bring them in.

First of all...Darned Dog!

If you cant find the hen, you can definitely put them in the brooder box without a problem. Maybe even tag them somehow so if mama does show up in a day or two, you can give them back.

Just some random thoughts that I could think of off the top of my head;

You could try to make the chicks "peep" as loud as they can and see if their mother comes.(It's a noise that annoys me very much and it usually happens when I pick the chick up while it tries to call it's momma)

You could also try to put food outside where the chicks are and see if it attracts any birds ,hopefully the mother comes

I would reccomend to find momma as soon as possible or she might not accept them back after a period of time.

She will come looking for them, and should reunite even if they have been seperated overnight, when I seperate mine, The hen will stand outside the door clucking and the chicks will be inside chirping the annoying I want my mommy chirp. I hope momma is alright, they will usually stop at nothing to get back to thier youngins.
