My 3 chicks (10 day old) and mother hen are living in there own run with a coop/run that they sleep in on the floor. I let them out in the morning into the bigger run. Today is forecast heavy rain and I'm wondering if they will be ok. I have created a few little sheltered areas but will they know not to get themselves too wet. Should I worry and lock them undercover or just let them be. The coop undercover is about 4x2ft

Mum will keep the rain off the chicks. Sheltered areas are good but mum may just stand in the rain with the chciks under her wings.
Let them be. Mum knows best.:)

Ok. Thanks. I'm a bit of a doting dad to my fine younger feathered friends. Their very adventurous little fellas and i worry about them getting themselves into trouble. Here's a few pics.
