Here is our youngest flock at 12 weeks: our first two Ameraucanas, our precious little Silkie and our foraging-maniac Mottled Java named Espresso.

I am dying to know if the Silkie is a rooster - I think s/he is, but what do you think? (I hope she is, b/c I have other silkie layers and would love to have a whole flock of silkies! Love these little ladies!
It's hard to get a clear picture of this little cutie (named Solo because s/he was the sole survivor of a sad incubator accident!) because s/he moves so fast!
I think I've seen him/her tidbitting for the others... but I just cannot tell if it's real or wishful thinking.

I am hoping the Ameraucanas (probably Easter Eggers I realize, named Aquilla and Priscilla) are pullets... but they are my first and I have no idea. What do you all think?

Thanks for any input! :)

Just from that picture... that walnut comb is suspicious. He looks a lot like my silkie cockerel, who is 12 weeks and hasn't crowed yet but has some very roosterish behavior for such a little dude.
