Hi all just wanted say đź‘‹ and update you on my first flock. So, you were all right my one little one is a a roo (Xander). But love him so much even though he has some very vocal days (yesterday it was almost all afternoon unless I was around and today not much). I am working with him to make sure he is a nice boy. Any recommendations what I can do when he seems to be having one of those days? I appreciate all the knowledge I have gained here. The girls Buffy, Willow, and Anya are also great. I love watching them, they are so fun. Anya the Maran is the most shy the favorelle are very social. They should be 18 weeks 7/30. I read that after 18 weeks they may produce eggs. So I'm trying to make sure I have as much info about that before we get there.

Xander is a handsome boy, and the girls are lovely. My Faverolles are not only very social, they are very talkative. One recently had to see a vet and spent the whole visit "speaking" haughtily to the doctor.

Let us know when the eggs start arriving, and good luck with Xander's continued good behavior (of course, naming them for Vampire Slayer characters MAY trigger some weirdness!).
