Chicks are here!

We got our chicks from Cackle came bright and early this morning! I should say dark and early. The post office called at 3:45am. And of corse I couldn't just let them sit in the post office warehouse

I ordered 15, and they sent 17. So a total of 6 Barred Rock, 6 Easter Eggers, and 5 California White.

They started eating and drinking immediately! I can't keep them all so I'll have to pick out favorites and sell the rest of Craigslist or something. Dh who was a little reluctant about getting more chickens this year has already picked out his favorite
