My DH hates TSC.. Well, actually, he looks forward to the trip as much as I do.. He just hates having to unload the ton of feed everytime..

It is IMPOSSIBLE to resist those cute baby FUZZY butts.

It's a drug I tell ya!

But, I did promise Dh I would only incubate this time, UNTIL I buy some cornish x for meat.. We know how far those promises go from a chicken addict

I have made up my mind I am going to go look this weekend I want some EE's and going to see if they have Marans or welsummers I want green and dark brown eggs. I think I might even get a couple of ducks Does anyone know of a way to tell a girl duck from a boy duck when they are little. I don't think having a few over the limit will matter since 2 are bantam hens and my rooster is a bantam so they don't count so I can not get 5 hows that for chicken math

Last spring we got 4 chicks to add to our flock plus our oldest grand daughter enjoyed them. Well our 2nd granddaughter is that age now so I figure to be fair I have to get some chicks so she can help raise them. Its only fair I did that for her sister and I would not want to be accused of favoring one grand baby over another. Now hows that for a reason to get some new chicks,
