Chicks Are On Their Way!

Our 26 chicks are on their way from McMurray to us here in California! Hoping for a safe trip for them.

I'll post pictures when they get here!

We are getting 15 of the brown layer mix and I can't wait to see what they send us. Kind of hoping for a turken or two! Then of course there's the exotic chick. The rest of our order was 2 B.O. hens and 1 Roo, 1 Partridge Cochin hen and 1 roo, 2 Colombian Wyandottes, 2 Australorps and 1 RIR. Yay!

They arrived! I was literally having a dream where a post office hub called me and told me that all the chicks were dead, and asking if they should send them back, when the real post office called and said the chicks were there! So far all of them are alive and healthy, although one cute little one seems to have a problem with his toe and keep falling over. He's still one of the rowdiest of the bunch and drinking okay. I'll take pictures of them once they've settled in. I'm really excited about a few with feathery feet!

Congrats!!! on OP's shipment. Did we miss a major hatchery from everyone else. LOL Congrats to you all too.
