He everyone 1st set of chicks, we have moved them out to the coop and run the last couple of days. Everything is going good except for in the morning I am having to basically kick them out of the coop to get them outside. Are there any tricks to getting them to come out on their own or am I just not being patient enough in the morning. They a slightly mixed age groiup we have 4 golden comets about 5.t to 6 weeks and 2 RIR and 2 PBR about 4.5 to 5 weeks I am also putting them in at night and still giving night time access to feed and water. I am taking it out in the morning and putting it in the run. I searched in the forums for this but didn't find where anyone else had asked .

Give them a week or more to adjust to their new home.
They will get the hang of it soon enough.

You need to remove the TV, and WIFI, from the coop!:lau

I have my first flock of chicks too! My only problem is when I bought them at Rural King, the bins just said assorted chicks so I have no clue what they are!!!
We couldn't do straight runs, we wanted to make sure we got kid friendly breeds and all pullets. But if we had unlimited space and we're raising broilers and layers I would have gotten some of those they were cheap cheap here lol
