chicks arrived all dead

My chicks should ship on the 11th also but i'm in Texas and expect fairly warm weather so crossing my fingers for my first chicks.

I'm so sorry yours died. I had an order that was supposed to be shipped from Ideal on the 4th (I live in Western NC), but luckily they postponed it to this week. Otherwise, I probably would have been in the same boat as you, what with the snow storm and everything.

But really, I'm sorry your babies died.

All you can do is try again. Maybe in the spring?

I didn't take the weather into consideration when I ordered mine. It was all on a whim, but next time I'll definitely think that one twice over. I hope mine arrive safely.

That is so sad. I hope you didnt have KIDS waiting for them? Please say no!?

We have never got chicks, here, before early March, and even then it's a bit of a risk if there's a cold snap or anything, I suppose. You are really making me think about the power we humans wield over these little lives . . . ack.
