They are all pullets.

You can expect eggs soonish. Last one will be the first to lay.

They are 18 weeks old - which is easier than stating their birth for anyone else who checks this thread out.


At 18 weeks you'd know for certain if you had a boy based on feathering

Thank you so very much!! I was hoping they were all hens but being new to chickens I wasnt sure. I have one last one my son wants me to post. We think it is also a pullet but would like your advice.

I'm doing it constantly. Thankfully I have a handy calendar that helps.

Can I ask how you know the grey girl will be the 1st to lay? I find that very cool that you know this. =)

Her comb. The combs and wattles turn red and grow larger a few weeks prior to laying.
