Chicks born with cataracts!!! Please help

What would cause a chick to be born blind with cataracts besides genetic issues? please help me anyway you can, i dont want this to happen again if its my fault. Thankyou so much

Look up "eye disorders in chickens" on Google. Vitamin E deficiency in parent stock, and avian encephalomyelitis (AE) in a chick can cause cataracts.
