Chick's breast have gone massive today, normal?

Hi,

I have 2 chick's that I believe to be about 9 weeks old. I left them out in their run all day with plenty of growers pellets and water. Gone to put them away today and their breasts/gullet(unsure of what it is called) has gone really, really BIG to the point where they look like mutants, is this normal?! Many thanks

If you are referring to their crop-yes LOL sometimes they look like they will pop! You can google images of a full chick crop to compare.

Ah, the crop? Indeed it is, wow it has just shot up in 1 day amazing! I take this is a sign that they are being raised right then? Many many thank Angiebubs!! X
