We have 5 silkies a hen and rooster and their family ,2 pullets and a young rooster who is just beginning to feel his oats.we will need to get him some hens of his own or sell him to someone who can provide him with a flock.We also have a silkie/ bantam mix hen and rooster and their family of6 chicks ..not sure of the sexes yet but one looks like a young rooster

We used to have some Black Silkies. They were sweet, gentle, adorable, funny little birds, and the hens were great brooders and mothers. They raised several broods for us. Good luck with your flock.
