Animals do not cry the way humans cry, we only think they do and give them that trait. However they "cry", it's a reflex, not because of an emotion

Chickens can’t physically cry because they don’t have some membrane for it but animals DO have emotions.

well i have seen before it died its eyes got all watery because it couldnt breath then...it died

Probably something to do with its body shutting down.

but pigs cry real tears i know that because the day we got my pot belly my dogs scared it and it just started crying and making little grunting noises

Pigs are extremely intelligent so I don’t think it’s so unreasonable to think they could cry at the very least, they definitely have emotions.

But animals don’t really express emotions the same way as us. Dogs cry when under stress but it’s not really triggered by being sad like it is in humans. Wouldn’t you think it’s the same for pigs?
