Someone told me the other day that there are folks using super glue to mend up wounds. And I may be outa my mind but I think they said in an emergency room. Correct me if I'm wrong .

My husband had colorectal cancer last year, they took 10 inches of his intestines and gave him an 8 inch " Bikini cut" and used super glue to close him up. It worked

Yes, it's called Dermabond and we use it in the nursing home as well. Older people still fall despite the best efforts to maintain their safety. Anyway, the Dermabond is a wonderful thing. Joints or anywhere else that stitches can't be or will just pop back open are likely candidates. In a pinch though Super Glue will work. Just always make sure the area is cleaned well before you do it. Steri-strips if you have them work well....just don't use TAO (triple antibiotic ointment) as the greasiness will prevent adherence to the strips.

Ok. Got some pictures of the baby. She is allowed to visit her "mommy" but only while I'm there. The rest of the time is spent her her brooder. You guys won't believe how much she has healed. He whole side was torn open. She had a few minor wounds like one behind her wing, but it was nothing compared to her whole stomach falling out! Here she is!
