Chicks delivery

Hi. I’m new to chickens. I was supposed to have 21 delivered to my post office tomorrow. I just checked the tracking n it said there’s a delay n now they won’t arrive til Saturday! I’m freaking out. I’m always freaking out but the chicks were shipped Wednesday n supposed to be here tomorrow (Friday)! Now they have to wait another day! It’ll be over 3 days. Are they going to arrive alive? How can they survive! My poor babies!! Someone please tell me they’ll be okay n I’m just worried about nothing. They left MN at 4 pm Wednesday. N now aren’t supposed to get here (pa) til later Saturday. There was a delay in Pittsburgh it said? guess that’s where they are now. Oh my! Haven’t even gotten them yet and already attached!

One thing about chicks in transit is the tracking cant be trusted....dont give up on a call in the wee hours tomorrow just yet. My last shipment had zero updates after "in transit to our facility" and my phone call....updates all hit after I had already picked them up.

Thanks for the reassurance Grey Mare! Guess I’ll try to get some sleep in a little bit. Gonna be a busy day. Daughter is in labor n have our 2 grandsons sleeping over awaiting their new sisters arrival!
