Chicks didn't hatch, what to do with the broody hen?

My cochin has been on her eggs for 23 days now, one chick started to hatch on day 20 but was stepped on or sat on and didn't make it. It appears the remaining eggs are not going to hatch. Should I put more fresh fertile eggs under her and have her sit for 21 more days or try and buy some 2-3 day old chicks and sneak them under her? .

Is it to hard on the hen to sit for another 21 days or is not that hard on them?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have a source of newborn chicks nearby, so I put fresh eggs under my broodies. I'm sure they don't enjoy the extra mileage, but that way they get something out of it in the end. But if you can get some day old chicks sneak them under her after dark, while she's sleeping.
