This is deeply disturbing to me. This is my third incubation and we usually have two or three out of 35-40 eggs that do not develop by lockdown and we have to throw out. This has been my worst hatch yet, and first time using an automatic egg turner. I have 16 healthy chicks that hatched In the past three days. 17 chicks that made it to full term, but died in the shell. None of the eggs were pipped. Only about half penetrated the air cell. What is going on? These were purchased/shipped eggs and some from my own flock. Out of the 11 shipped eggs ONE hatched.
