Update All chicks are still alive!!! we haven't lost any for over a day now!!! I am still checking their bottoms, under great protest from them, all they are better. thanks to all for your help

Woohoo!!! That was the first thing I asked (I'm training myself to be a chicken trouble shooter). I am sooo glad they are better! I've heard pasty vents are too common and everyone needs to constantly check for it. Good luck with the fuzzy chicks
