Chick's ear issue

We have a few new girls currently and I noticed this morning that one of our buff cochin's ears looks a little funny (this is new). I took a picture of both ears for comparison. The first pic is her normal ear the second pic is of the ear in question. Upon feeling it it feels stiff like crusty. Any ideas?

Did you have a resolution to this? I have some new chicks and one is showing this same type of thing. Just curious what your outcome was. Thanks!
