Chicks eating Rollie Pollies aka Pill Bugs:)

Hello everyone!!

My name is Matt and I am happy I joined! Lots of great information on chickens and how best to use them in my garden etc etc

I have three baby chickens/chicks. I put a small amount of pill bugs in there brooder with them and my chicks went nuts!! Are the pill bugs safe?

Most any outside bugs are safe, they'll eat them as Adults when their out, and

from Ohio

yup my chicken eat them too. They don't really fancy them, but I do see them digging under the trees for them.

Thank you for the welcome and the info I'm really starting to love these little chickens! It's funny they come to me when I call!

Thanks! That makes me feel safer knowing that chickens can eat them no problems I heard they are a great way for our chicks to get calcium. Must be that armor on the Rollie Pollies!
