We used to have a pea pod plant, the chickens demolished itYou need more tomatoes.
I planted a cherry tomato plant one year and ever since, I get a volunteer pop up in the garden and I let it grow. They are great treats.
But now my chickens harass and stare at me whenever I go to the garden. Such pressure! I lob all the cherry tomatoes that have split out to them.
One cherry tomato plant will provide enough tomatoes for your family, your friends and a flock of 27. At least that is the way it was for me!We used to have a pea pod plant, the chickens demolished itthey loved the peas. also that’s a good idea to get a tomato plant for them.
I'm the same way only this time they ripped it straight out of my hand before I couldI'm the type of person that has to take the tomato and break it into tiny pieces so that they all have someI can't bear any being left out. Although they probably forget about it straight away.
I don't think they ever taste their food. They literally just swallow it.
Aww that’s so cuteThe rule here has always been if it grows out past the garden fence, it is free game. That usually provides enough to feed them quite well.
