Chicks finally here Yay!

Finally got my chicks this morning went to post office yesterday and had the kind lady leave a note on time clock to have them call me asap so got my call at 5 am order 3 black asustrolp and 3 golden buffs. Goldens didnt hatch so got a call monday took rir instead.ended up getting 4 black austros 3 rir when thy arrived this morning will post pics later!

Congrats on your babies! That ride to the post office is just the most exciting thing ever, isn't it!?!? Good luck with them!

I just got my first baby chicks yesterday. Two Easter Eggers, two Barred Rocks, one Columbian Wyandotte, and one Silver Laced Wyandotte. I too got a call Monday, since I was supposed to get two Columbians, but they didn't have a very good hatch out of them. My chicks all seem to be healthy and happy. I'm amazed at how much they poop! Hope your new chicks settle in well.

thank you and yea the ride to the post office was alittle exciting just glad they didnt have to sit there for very long.







not long after i got them home i had to goto work so left the 11 and 12 year olds in charge of them guess they forgot to lock the door and my 3 year old decied to take them all out of brooder and put them back in shipping box O.O.... luckly they all seem unharmed and healthy still. my wife thinks thier cute but wont touch them yet but the 11 and 12 year olds are at thier dads for the rest of week so she's in charge of caring for them while im at work im sure she'll give in to thier cuteness soon.
