Chicks First Night Outside

Mine are only a week and a half old and I am dreading putting them out in the coop when it get to be that time. I'm gonna be a wreck, plus I am gonna miss them from being here in the house with me.

You could always do what i do...

I have a cot out in the new coop. It has a concrete floor and beaucoup air flow. I am thinking of installing central heating/air and satalite tv/internet.

I am a sophisticated hick.

I put my chicks and brooder out in their coop from day one. I must admit I was out checking on them quite often too.

I am seriously considering a baby monitor for the move outside. Am I crazy?
