chicks first trip outside

I have some 2 &1/2 week chicks, I also have BO's and blk Australorps. I too have found that the blk australorps are very friendly especially my supposed one cockeral (they marked him), but so are my BO's. In fact I have one BO(they are all supposed to be pullets) that is so friendly that when I go to feed them I have to get inside their big brooder box w/them and she will jump up on me every time.

Aww!! Your chicks are adorable!! I wanted some BOs, but they were out, at the time.

And thank you, ChickenLady, for your kind words!

Here is my 7/23 MM exotic chick and 'flock' of three week olds (hopefully all pullets).
I edited this with a recent picture. Here she is today in the back and my Auruacana is front and center. My red stars, black stars, and RIR are also in the picture attacking their feeder (the new favorite game is knock over the feeder and perch on it).

Here she is closer up with one of my Arucana ee's in front of her and my red stars behind her.

Oh, I just noticed it looks like their bed needs to be changed but that is actually their feed. They have knocked over the feeder so much I'm wasting like 2 pounds a day on the floor.

So cute! They look so much like my chickies. And I'm glad you IDed them - b/c that means that I've IDed mine correctly. It's been hard to tell, b/c they change so much everyday!

I've got one little australorp and one little white rock that, as soon as I put my hand in the brooder, come over to be petted. I wasn't sure if chickens like to be petted, per say, but they seem to love it. Sometimes they'll sit down under my hand - so cute!

Those are really nice pictures. They are so cute. Just think, mine were that cute at one time.
