chicks foot development

One of my chicks hatched this morning a day early and it has been five hours since then. One of the chicks feet is staying balled up kindof like a fist, the outer toe folds under the foot.

I hope it is not going to stay like this. The chicks other foot seems fine which makes me worry even more. I feel so helpless too because it is lockdown and I can't open the bator!!!

I hope the chicks foot gets better. I hate seeing it hobble on its leg.

I'm taking my babies out of the bator as they hatch, without any problems.

Just do it very quick and make sure your temps and humidity stay the same.

The babies (well, mine anyways) were too distressed in there and much better under a heat lamp, on paper towels and with a cuddle bear!
