As I'm looking at my baby girls and getting to know them by the way they are colored up I'm wondering if the same markings on their "fur" will be the same with their feathers. Example; one of my Rhode Island reds have off white wings. All the rest of her is the reddish color. So we were wanting to know if she will have the same coloring when her feathers come in?

Well, it's called "down," to start...

And no. Your Rhode Island Red will be a beautiful, normal, bright red, Rhode Island Red.

Chicks colors change dramatically as they grow up in most breeds.

Lol thanks I knew it wasn't called fur but I also couldn't recall what it was called. We had chicken all my life growing up but this is my first time having my own so it's been a LONG time. That's for the help.
