i have eggs in my incubator . The oldest ones have been in there for 15 days . I came home tonight to find a hatched chicks and another egg pipping .

There is no way the eggs were already beeing sat on because i collected them daily and stored them in a cage in my barn for 2 weeks as i collected a good amount of eggs . Theres also no way that they hid them from me iether .

how is it possible that they hatched on day 15 ?

I dont know if it matters but they are either full game or araucana /game mix .

They were developing before that. Either someone was incubating them or it's hot enough in your barn where they were stored to do the trick.

Have you ever candled them beforehand? That may have told you what was going on. . . But it sounds like your barn was giving prime conditions for development.

I sounds very early, I need to be convinced that you didnt forget a week in there somewhere dates seem a week off to me

i never candled them before hand . But i used the first weeks worth of eggs for food for some other animals i had then i started collecting them .

They are just 2 out of 50 eggs i collected that week and they are the only eggs hatching . I candled all my eggs tonight to see if any others were hatching but there was non

the eggs were stored in a locked cage and they were in the dark most of the time .

i know its odd . I have ben hatching for a few years now and never had this happen to me before
