Title basically says it all, my chicks are on Day 20 and pipping. The temps dropped to 92 for at least 8 hours, probably much more (went to bed, temps were at 100, woke up, temps were dropped at 92, didnt get back up to 100 for another 2-3 hours after that). I was freaking and peaking today thinking the babies must be dead and lo and behold they all started hatching early. Hope they all make it.
Anyways, I use a turkey baster to put hot water into the bator. I move the lid a tiny bit to one side, and put the water in the tray. Well, this hatch I decided to use paper towel under the eggs to help with clean up and somehow ALL of it is now wet from the trays underneath. All of the paper towel is wet. Should I do anything, move the eggs and put dry towel in (or just remove the wet paper towel) or will they be fine?
Happy hatching everyone.
