Our local feed store has recently posted the list for breeds they're going to be selling this year. I'm really excited because I'll be getting more breeds this year than last year.

Breeds I'll be getting:
-Crested Polish
-All color varieties of Sex Links
-Olive Eggers
-Barred Rocks
-Silkies
-Cochins, smooth & frizzle
-Easter Eggers
-Orpingtons, buff & lavender

I can't wait to post photos of them when I get them.

I hope you have a plan for separate coops, as I see possible problems having Silkies, Polish, and then sex-links especially all together. Many people have difficulties with this blend, and having the little and crested birds picked on way too much.

Our 3 current Polish do fine with our flock. Our cockerel is the only one who we have to keep treating as he just lets the hen & pullets pick at him.

Good luck with your upcoming birds.
We have three Copper Marans, 2 black and 1 blue. They are going on 4-5 years old ( I can't remember exactly)
Today we got 6 new chicks, (about 5 days old) at Rural King. TS said it would be March for theirs, so we went ahead.
3 Buff Orpingtons and 3 Blue Plymouth Rocks. Never started with chicks this young so it will be a fun and interesting challenge.
